Croatia: Dora 2022 preview

On Sunday morning, Croatian broadcaster HRT will choose its representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin through its long-running national final Dora.



A total of fourteen participants will take part in the national final on Sunday morning, with the winner being selected by a 50/50 split of both jury and public voting.


Currently. Mia Negovetić's 'Forgive Me' is favourite in the odds and also with fans according to the app 'My Eurovision Scoreboard'.



Mia previously finished third in 2021 and was runner-up based on a tie-break in 2020.


Following closely behind Mia is Mark Bošnjak with 'Moli za nas' who is second with fans in the odds.



Other songs standing out are Bernarda - 'Here for Love' (third with fans) and Mia Dimšić - 'Guilty Pleasure' (third in the odds).


The show will begin at 06:10 a.m. AEDT, and is expected to run for approximately two hours.


The running order of the show tomorrow morning is as follows:


  1. Bernarda - 'Here for Love'

  2. Elis Lovrić - 'No War'

  3. Ella Orešković - 'If You Walk Away'

  4. Eric Vidović - 'I Found You'

  5. Jessa - 'My Next Mistake'

  6. Marko Bošnjak - 'Moli za nas'

  7. Mia Dimšić - 'Guilty Pleasure'

  8. Mia Negovetić - 'Forgive Me (Oprosti)'

  9. Mila Elegović - 'Ljubav'

  10. Roko Vušković - 'Malo kasnije'

  11. Tia - 'Voli me do neba'

  12. Tina Vukov - 'Hideout'

  13. ToMa - 'In the Darkness'

  14. Zdenka Kovačiček - 'Stay on the Bright Side'


The show will be hosted by actor and radio host Duško Ćurlić, Eurovision 2018 representative Franka Batelić, and actress Elizabeta Brodić from the Marino Cvetković Sports Hall in Opatija.


As with last year, no live audience will be present at Dora, following ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. Any artists who test positive for coronavirus will not perform live, and the recording of their dress rehearsal will be used instead.


International fans of Dora will be able to watch the show on the HRT website, or streamed online on YouTube.
