The rebellion is not happening. Results of Festival da Canção Semi Final 1.

The first semi final of Rádio e Televisão de Portugal’s (RTP) Festival da Canção has been decided with 4 artists qualifying for the final on March 07 (March 08, Australian time). The semi-final qualifiers were resolved by two scores (from 3-8, 10 and 12). One score was determined by the jury (which included Conan Osiris) and the other by televotes from the Portuguese public, thus each makes up for 50% of the final score. From there, the top 4 artists from each semi qualifies for the final. Making it through were: 1. Bárbara Tinoco- ‘Passe-Partout’

2. Elisa- ‘Medo De Sentir’

3. Felipe Sambado- ‘Gerbera Amarela Do Sul’

4. Throes + The Shine- Movimento’

Missing out were: 1. MEERA- ‘Copo De Gin’ 2. Ian Mucznik- ‘O Dia De Amanhã’ 3. Blasted- ‘Rebellion’ 4. JJaZZ- ‘Agora’ This year the individual jury and televote scores will not be disclosed in the semi finals. Like Eurovision itself, the results will only be made public after the final. The second semi final will be held next week on February 29 (March 01, Australian time).
