Luxembourg to hold preselection for Eurovision 2024 return

Tonight, the Luxembourg broadcaster RTL revealed that a preselection would be used to choose their Eurovision 2024 artist.

Luxembourg, which has won the Contest five times, are returning to the Contest for the first time since 1993.

Anne Grulms from RTL said that more details on the selection would be revealed next week.

"Numerous speculations about the preselection have already been circulating in the press and on social media. The preselection process will be launched on July 3, 2023, and all the details regarding registrations and the recruitment of candidates and songwriter-composers will be communicated through the official website."

The site is live now with a countdown to a full announcement.

No other information, including whether or not artists from outside of Luxembourg are eligible, is available yet.
