This year Georgia is being represented at Junior Eurovision 2022 by Mariam Bigvava with the song 'I Believe'.

Details on the entry and the artist, and history of Georgia at Junior Eurovision below.

The artist: Mariam Bigvava

Mariam Bigvava is 11-years-old and has been singing since she was 7-years-old. Not only is she a singer, but she also plays some folk instruments.

The young singer has revealed that she enjoys playing football and listening to Billie Eilish, but is less of a fan of cauliflowers and tomatoes.

Mariam lives in Tbilisi with her pet parrot Shako, and a dog named Maze. She describes them as ‘funny but restless.’

Georgia once again used 'Ranina' as the selection show to choose their 2022 Junior Eurovision entry. Ten entries competed across four rounds and the six with the highest points progressed to a semi-final, and then four to a final. Jury votes determined the winner and Mariam was crowned the winner of 'Ranina' 2022.

The entry: 'I Believe'

'I Believe' was composed by Giorgi Kukhianidze with lyrics by Beni Kadagidze and Iru Khechanovi. The lyrics are in both Georgian and English languages.
