Jaguar Jonze's debut album 'BUNNY MODE' nominated for The Triffid's Album Of The Year

'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022 jury winner Jaguar Jonze has had a huge month.


Her debut album 'BUNNY MODE', which features her Australia Decides entry 'Little Fires', has been nominated for The Triffid's QLD Album Of The Year.


This news comes after Jaguar presented a hugely impactful keynote address at BIGSOUND 2022 last week.


The Triffid's QLD Album Of The Year


The Triffid is the home of live music in Brisbane. The venue is an old commercial hangar that merges its WW2 heritage with the unique garden that hosts local artists. Every year the venue run's Queensland's biggest annual album poll, voted by the public.


The full list of nominees for The Triffid's QLD Album Of The Year include:

  • Jaguar Jonze - 'BUNNY MODE'

  • Shag Rock - 'Double Overhead'

  • Mass Sky Raid - 'Calm In Chaos'

  • Hatchie - 'Giving The World Away'

  • Eliza and The Delusionals - 'Now And Then'

  • Semantics - 'Paint Me Blue'


'BUNNY MODE' features Jaguar's Australia Decides 2022 jury winning song 'Little Fires'. Jaguar competed at 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' for the second time after her iconic performance of 'Rabbit Hole' in 2020. Back in February she won the jury vote with 'Little Fires' and finished in overall third place. An amazing achievement making her "cubs" extremely proud!





The winner will be revealed on November 17 at The Triffid.


Keynote speaker at BIGSOUND 2022


Last week Jaguar Jonze presented at the BIGSOUND 2022 as the keynote speaker at Cloudland in Brisbane. BIGSOUND is Australia's leading new music festival and industry conference held in Brisbane this year.

Jaguar combined art and performance in her presentation sharing stories of her personal journeys. The piece was extremely moving with Jaguar receiving a standing ovation!



It has also been revealed that Jaguar will be performing live at The Princess Theatre in Brisbane on November 4, 2022, for The Princess Theatre's 1st Birthday Party! She will be joined by Bugs and Peach Fur with more acts to be announced soon. Get tickets to the show here.
