'Eurovision - Australia Decides 2020' artist Jack Vidgen has released another energetic new single with the track 'Love Me Lonely'.
Jack competed in 'Eurovision - Australia Decides 2020' with the track 'I Am King I Am Queen'. Earlier this year he released his epic single, 'PRAY', which shot to No. 1 on the Australian Independent chart. With 'Love Me Lonely' Jack continues to serve up raw honesty on the menu and is not afraid to be unapologetically Jack.
'Love Me Lonely' is a club-ready track where Jack's vocals are as striking as ever. He emotes such emotions through his vocals that they hit you straight in the chest as you dance away to the infectious beat!
Jack explains the journey he went on with 'Love Me Lonely':
“I wrote ”Love Me Lonely” the week before I decided that I needed to change my life completely and face the addictions that I had been battling. At the time I felt like my life was in chaos and, on reflection, this song was a cry for help. Interestingly, the lyrics actually foreshadowed some of the events that took place the week after I wrote the song. I remember getting the demo back from the producer on that weekend and I found myself hearing my own cry for help in a way I hadn’t heard before. Life is an ongoing battle with moments of pleasure and pain but I am just trying to write songs that I hope others can relate to…. “Love Me Lonely” is another chapter in the story.”
Co-written with Matt Riley, Justin Martins and the incredible Maddie Crabtree and produced by Matt Riley, 'Love Me Lonely' mixes emotional lyrics with banging beats and the end result is pure bliss. Jack Vidgen will be launching his new single as the headline act at 'Poof Doof' in Sydney this Saturday June 5. The venue open at 9pm with free entry up until 10pm.
Next month Jack will be debuting his new live show called ‘DON’T YOU F*#KN START ME’ at The Oxford Art Factory on Friday July 16 in Sydney. There will be two shows on the night. You can get tickets here.
