Warning spoilers of Australia's performance below!

Opening rehearsals continued in Turin today, with the first half of the semi-final 2 on stage.

Among them was our very own Sheldon Riley, who gave us the first look at Australia's staging for Eurovision 2022.

The official photographs reveal Sheldon's look is EPIC, with a huge white outfit (including a train), accompanied by his signature mask.

This lighter look is the polar opposite of his dark ensemble for Australia Decides back in February.

The official Eurovision blog commented on the performance saying:

"Sheldon’s at the bottom of two flights of giant steps, and his outfit is the opposite of Achille Lauro’s – there’s ACRES of it, with a huge fur-trimmed white wedding train that drapes to the floor. He’s also wearing his silver sparkly face and hand jewellery, keeping up the 2022 Eurovision standard for incredible outfits."

"This is a powerful vocal performance from Sheldon – those big notes are blowing the roof off the Pala Alpitour right now."

Below is the TikTok video footage from the official Eurovision account.

The press, including Aussievision, will see the full version of Sheldon's performance in the second rehearsal on Friday morning (Italy time), which is Friday evening Australian time.
